The fragments of the 3D mapping show (performances at corporate parties and events)
"VG Show" (3D Singer & Dress Mapping) is an amazing visual performance that transforms a large opera diva's dress into a canvas of dynamic imagery, contemporary graphics, kaleidoscopic patterns, and visual storytelling. This unique 3D performance has a duration of 8-10 minutes and can be customized to suit the thematic essence of your event.
Olga Rossi's enchanting live singing and projection dress (mapping dress) are sure to leave a lasting impression at your event. This unique performance is perfect for various occasions, including gala dinners, product or brand presentations, corporate parties, or wedding receptions. You can elevate the 3D show by adding our musicians (harpist, saxophonist, electric violinist) or dancers.
The 3D singer show comes with an uncomplicated rider, as we provide our own projector, mixing console, microphone, and video content for projecting onto the dress and screen for every
The soloist for the 3D dress show is Olga Rossi, an opera diva with a mesmerizing voice and a unique lounge opera style. Her music has been featured as a soundtrack on several TV shows, including "High Life," "HD Fashion TV," "Madrid Fashion Week," and "Lounge FM."
She is one of the few singers who professionally perform in three voices (vocal styles): operatic, pop, and authentic. Olga has a higher academic vocal education, has sung the main roles in famous operas, and has been the winner
and laureate of six vocal competitions.
In December 2019, Olga Rossi received the "Woman of the 3rd Millennium" award for her valuable contribution to the advancement of contemporary music and art.
Olga is the soloist of the original laser harp show and the music project LAFESTA.
If your event requires other artists besides the 3D Dress, you can save significant costs, such as rider fees and transfers, by ordering our additional show.
Both of these original projects have a consistent structure: Olga Rossi as the soloist, a DJ/VJ, and, if required, 1-2 musicians.
Event organizers often encounter difficulties implementing certain shows, such as fire displays, pyrotechnics, and acrobatics indoors, due to the need for additional space and safety measures. The advantage of a 3D dress projection show is its requirement of only 2 m².
Our equipment and content enable projection onto selected items and objects located at your venue, such as a piano, a large birthday cake, or even the bride's wedding dress. This visual 3D show can be likened to "hi-tech fashion," where fashion merges with technology to create the illusion of transforming clothing and other objects.
If a screen is present on stage or in the location where the 3D singer will perform, it can enhance the audience's immersion in the projection show. Further information regarding the technical and consumer rider for the 3D show can be found below.
Technical requirements for the 3D dress show (projection mapping):
Hospitality requirements for Zurich and surrounding areas
Hospitality requirements for tours:
1. How much stage space is required for the 3D dress map?
The projection dress takes up just 2 m² on the stage. The ceiling must be at least 2.5 meters high.
2. How long does the soundcheck for the 3D show (3D dress mapping) typically take?
Connecting, 3D mapping, and sound setup will take 45-50 minutes if all the elements of our rider are prepared beforehand.
3. When would be the most suitable timing for the 3D demonstration during the event?
Ideally, the 3D dress show should take place at the start of the event to minimize the possibility of anyone moving the projector. It is recommended to carry out a sound check 60 minutes prior to the arrival of the guests and leave the projector on the stage.
If the 3D show is scheduled in the middle of the concert program, a sound check can be done earlier, and the projector can be removed from the stage. To reposition the projector and make arrangements for the show, we require 2-3 minutes.
4. How does the 3D singer get on stage and how long does it?
The VG show's soloist ascends to the stage wearing a dress, despite its ample size, and prepares to perform in just one minute. Ideally, a stage manager or event organizer can assist her at this point.
5. How dim should the lighting be at the venue to ensure optimal visibility of the 3D dress mapping?
The darker the environment, the more visible the projection on the dress. A full blackout is optimal, although a level of twilight is acceptable.
6. Can the duration of the 3D mapping show exceed or fall short of 10 minutes?
The 3D show can be shortened to either 7, 5, or 3 minutes, but it cannot be extended as the primary objective is to amaze the audience. An 10-minute 3D mapping presentation is sufficiently impressive to fulfil its purpose.
7. Do you have the video for an LED screen or displays?
Yes, we possess a video for the stage screen. Usually, we transmit the video to your VJ through flashcards or a sharing service during the soundcheck.
8. Is it possible to perform the 3D dress show without an LED screen on stage?
Of course, a screen on stage enhances the 3D performance, but it poses no issue as the prime attraction is the opera diva in the 3D dress.
9. How many performers take to the stage for the 3D mapping spectacle?
Usually, only the 3D singer is present. Our VJ/sound engineer is positioned on the side or opposite the stage but no farther than 12 meters from the projector. This is due to the recommended length of the HDMI cable,
which should not exceed 12 metres, to avoid signal attenuation and distortion. For an additional cost, we can include other performers in the 3D mapping show, such as a ballerina, harpist or electric violinist.
10. Is it possible to create the 3D performance using our videos or logo for the 3D dress mapping?
We can provide a wide range of videos for the 3D mapping show for an additional fee. This is subject to sufficient time being given to prepare new video content.
The cost of producing new content for the show depends on the complexity of the task and the accessibility of the video (for example, whether the client already has a video, whether it is necessary to purchase a video from stock, or whether it is necessary to create a new video from scratch).
Is it possible for a 3D vocalist (3D projection performer) to perform with the music track we have selected?
Yes, it's possible to alter the projection show to match your selected music and a suitable backing track (minus the vocals) if we have the time, and the track in question is of adequate quality.
Nevertheless, it is crucial to deliberate on any alterations to the repertoire beforehand, as some tunes or genres may not be feasible within the format of our 3D production.
11. What is the brightness of your projector?
The projector we use has a brightness of 3,500 ANSI lumens. Considering that the projector is positioned 3 meters from the dress, a brightness of 3,500 ANSI lumens suffices for effective visibility of the video projection.
Innovative technologies are penetrating the events sphere to the extent that it is becoming increasingly challenging to amaze the audience. 3D dress mapping remains both unusual and prominent, allowing you to dive into a visual show with every content: the branding of a company, wedding animation, or surrealistic and abstract video. Instead of the expected typical banquet or presentation, guests find themselves transported to an entirely new realm where 3D projection transforms the space and heightens the show's impact.
The Arts and Science 3D mapping show employs various objects in place of a conventional screen for video projection. Although the video takes on a two-dimensional form, the three-dimensional shape of the dress presents a stunning 3D performance.
Perhaps this is the future of fashion, where people wear clothes that change pattern, fabric, or colour depending on their mood or the place they visit.
One of the earliest demonstrations of 3D mapping on clothing was at the international song contest "Eurovision." In 2013, American singer Carrie Underwood utilized 3D dress mapping during her performance at the Grammy Awards presentation ceremony. However, it was Jennifer Lopez's appearance with a 3D mapping dress during "American Idol" that truly captured attention. During her performance of the song "Feel The Light," an animated cartoon was projected onto her dress canvas.
Although the 3D mapping show is seldom used, owing to the laborious process of creating the video content and the dress itself, as well as the additional physical training required for the 3D singer to perform the projection. Firstly, the weight of the video-dress is much greater than that of a typical dress, and secondly, a 3D artist must remain almost stationary throughout the entire projection show to maximize the 3D dress show's impact.
Nonetheless, the primary benefit of the 3D mapping display (3D performance) is that the dress-screen is adaptable for projecting several animations, logos, and images. This suits the aesthetics of all occasions, such as events, presentations, corporate gatherings, and weddings.
